Keysborough Kindergarten is a not-for-profit kindergarten committed to creating a safe, inclusive and inspiring place where every child can belong, play, learn and grow.

We believe every child is capable, curious and unique. Our play-based approach supports children to build confidence, develop independence and become active participants in their learning and community.

Our philosophy is guided by four values that shape everything we do:

Children's Rights

We believe every child has the right to feel safe, valued, heard and respected. We recognise children as capable individuals with their own ideas, identities, strengths and perspectives.

Strong relationships are at the heart of our practice. We build genuine, respectful partnerships with children, families, educators and our wider community, celebrating diversity and creating a strong sense of belonging.

Agency and Learning

 

We believe children learn through play, exploration, relationships and experiences that spark their curiosity. We give children meaningful choices and opportunities to lead, discover, problem-solve and develop their own ideas.

We are committed to continually learning and improving. Through reflection, collaboration and professional learning, we ensure our practice remains responsive to the children and families in our community.
